CO2-reduction contract Nijmegen

Clientname: Own initiative with the city of Nijmegen
Year: 2008
Clienttype:
Location: Nijmegen, Netherlands
Expertise: realizing a breakthrough by getting many parties to jointly achieve emission reduction.

In Nijmegen, several parties have underlined the importance of CO2 reduction and have found each other in a creative and innovative contract. Local (big energy-consuming) companies and organizations, together with Royal Haskoning and the city of Nijmegen, took on the challenge to achieve reduction targets set higher than the national targets. Both technical, innovative measures are taken, as well as social, binding ones.

A thriving, energetic, enthusiastic and innovative foundation is built by committing many different parties to the contract. Innovative technological companies, a professional soccer club, the city itself.. All joining hands to fight CO2 emission.
