Commissioned by Rijkswaterstaat, Royal Haskoning studied the long-term effects of climate change on drought and the implied impact on the economy. The investment in space for drought measures by the government could be determined by doing this.

The effects of climate change studied in this particular project are solely for the Netherlands and the Dutch government.
