Royal Haskoning was commissioned by the Environment Agency (EA) to review all available temporary and demountable flood defenses, develop a categorization system and produce guidance for their use in England and Wales. A broad range of knowledge and expertise coming from several different Royal Haskoning offices throughout Europe about this matter was utilized in this project. All the knowledge about these forms of flood defenses was structuralized to find the best solution for each spot.
